Our after-school clubs provide a safe and welcoming environment where children can relax, have fun, and enjoy a range of engaging activities after the school day.
At Lift Meadstead, we are proud to offer an extensive programme of after-school clubs – completely free of charge to all our children. We believe every child should have the opportunity to explore new interests, develop new skills, and take part in enriching experiences beyond the classroom.
Each term, our after-school offer is carefully designed to provide something for everyone — from creative arts and crafts to energetic sports and wellbeing activities. Children can take part in clubs such as art, dance, athletics, yoga, choir, eco warriors, forest school, computing, design, and much more!
Our aim is to remove barriers and ensure every child has access to high-quality extracurricular opportunities that help build confidence, teamwork, and a lifelong love of learning.
At the end of each half term, families receive a club survey to sign up for the following half term’s activities. This allows us to refresh our offer regularly, respond to children’s interests, and make sure everyone has a chance to take part.
Because at Lift Meadstead, we believe every child deserves the chance to shine and an opportunity to showcase their talents.
Please collect your child from the designated after-school club pick-up point. On arrival, press the intercom buzzer and a member of staff will be with you shortly.
If you need to cancel a booked session, please notify the school by 2:00pm on the day. Cancellations made after this time may still be charged.
We expect all children to follow the school’s behaviour expectations while attending after-school clubs. Continuous unsafe or unkind behaviour may result in a review of the child’s place at the club.
Children are provided with a healthy snack and a drink during each session. Please note that most schools follow a ‘no juice’ policy in line with healthy eating guidance.
For more information or to book a session, please contact the school office.
